How do you change a thermostat on a 2004 chevy trailblazer?

what items do i need to buy after changing out the old one

go to your local auto parts store. tell them you need a thermostat . most of the late model the gasket is made on it . also you will only loose a small amount of coolant so you don't have to replace it if you loose less than a quart. just top off with water . It should be about a 15 minute job.
