exact same car? I was considering buying a Chevrolet Aveo as I was looking at one I noticed on the Pontiac lot the same exact car sold as the G3 but it cost a two thousand more dollars than then Aveo when the equipment package was the same.

Because it's a Pontiac. Were it a Buick, you'd pay a couple thousand more than that.

This has been the way of the American auto industry since Alfred P. Sloan, who conceived the GM stepladder with Chevy at the bottom, Cadillac at the top, and everyone else positioned in between.
