Thrush Glass Pack On 99 3.8L Camaro?

Im looking for a new exhaust flowmaster has gotten old and sounds horrible when releasing the gas pedal now. So im looking for a budget solution and found a thrush turbo muffler but at the same price i can get a thrush glasspack. with a 3.8 v6 would a thrush glasspack be to loud to drive in columbus ohio. well i'll give you all the info i know. i'm sure that columbus police can be just as picky as any cop if you give them a good enough reason. however i dropped one whole side of the exaust on my 03 chevy 2500 hd and with a warmed up 6.0 with 400 hp let me tell you it was out right defining. i had to drive all the way back from southern texas that way and it did'nt even turn one cops head includeing in colubus. but any time i saw a cop i was easy on the gas. other wise i had alot of fun waking the dead. the truck now has new true duals with 3 in. pipes and true glasspacks. it sounds good but it is quit loud if you get into it pretty good. the biggest thing is knowing when to keep your foot out of it. but it is true that glasspacks have gotten people in trouble of decades your car being the car it is will automaticly get you noticed sooner than my 1 ton will. ithink you might be better of with a good turbo muffler espesally with yours being a 3.8 and not the 5.7. but if you just got to have it ungodly loud run the glasspack and start figureing out what us older muscle car nuts have figured out through trial and error WHEN TO KEEP YOUR FOOT OUT OF IT.
