HP? What add-ons can I do to m I am a muscle, tuner, and exotic car guy, mostly muscle. My car will be filmed in my upcoming auto/action thriller and would like to hear from the public on how to blast them off their theater seats all the way to China. I do not wish to have some cheap parts on this car so name the best of the best parts that even the muscle car gods can't get their hands on. We are equipping it with a ZZ572/720R from GM Performance Parts and would like to know what to do to that engine to make it around 2500 HP.
Note to iamacarguyru: you need to know your cars before answering questions like these
Note to whomever thinks throwing 2500 HP in a Chevelle is impossible:

The LSX engine from GMPP has performance for up to 2500 and I need to know what parts for that engine or the ZZ could be used.

First off Muhammed, what have ya done to beef up the tranny and rearend? Not to mention the frame. Ya sure ya want to do this to a rare car( not many left and recently saw one on Barrett / Jackson auction go for $350,000.( All original of couse with matching #) Course it was a convertible with air. I know Rodac builds engines for tractor pulls and they have 2500 hp + and have a lot of bottom end torque and run on nitro-methane with 871 GMC blowers. Go to your local dragstrip when they run top fuelers and see those guys and get them to tell ya what ya need to do to that engine or whether to buy another engine already set up

I love these questions that are so obviously a joke.

2500 HP. On the street.

Race cars do not have that much HP until you get to the dragsters that are running exotic fuels and huge superchargers. Not formula 1 cars. Not Indy cars. Not Nascar cup cars. Not Pro Comp cars.

im not sure you could ever drive around with 2500 hp, but to get it made in our dragster we use a 526cid hemi engine with a 14-71 top fuel blower and have to run it on about 25% nitromethane. it goes through about 6 gallons of fuel in 2 minutes. cost for the complete motor is about $30,000. but i still dont think you could drive it....just my opinion...
