A friend of mine just had the fuel pump go out in her Tahoe a week ago. They replaced it and now the car is ticking.
It ticks softly when in park, and louder when in drive. Her husband took the car in to a mechanic today and he said that it is the flywheel.
Does that seem correct? The ticking didn't start until after they replaced the fuel pump. Coincidence?
