i have a 1997 chevy camaro. the service engine soon light comes on and stays on for

a month or so,then off, ? it will run perfect for months and then the light comes on and no one so far knows what is doing it. i have spent 600. or more in garages that knew nothing about it. can anyone help. one says it is the converter stopping up. another said it was the fuel injector going bad. the last one that cost me 600. said it was the ignition module, so i hed it replaced for 150. and new plug wires, new plugs the wors. it is worse now then when they said they could fix it

nah...the fuel filter would make it cut out on you....ask ron annini the car doctor on the web...he will know bro.! might be an oxygen sensor or if its not just have the light reset if its running fine

It could be sensor related, are you starting to get horrible gas mileage and engine performance is horrible? It could be as simple as those oxygen sensors. Those are a key point of communication in your car.
