Chevy Equinox Owners: Are you having recurrent problems with the windshield

washer pump? I have had the pump replaced once and the windshild washer fluid is not dispensing again like it should. Do you think it's dust or other buildup in the lines or could it really be a faulty design of the weak pump?

There must be some kind of build up in the lines. Do you have high calcium or lime in your water? Is the water level in the wiper fluid bottle full? Some window washer fluid will cause a build up in the lines if the mixture isn't right. We have a 2005 Chevy Equinox. We have it for over 2 years and never had a problem with the window washer pump. We live in florida. Also did you wax the vechile recently? if you did, is there wax build up in the nozzle? Take a safety pin or a welding tip cleaner and try cleaning the hole out.
