For starters the car is 4door and 2wd. It has a Vortec engine 5.7 v8. Just the other day I allowed a friend to borrow the car. It ran out of gas. She went to go get more gas and put it in the truck but the car still will not start. I have had the car about 6 months and have only ran out of gas 1 time. Another friend of mine says maybe its the fuel pump. That it my be burnt out, although my father has another possible cause but he will not share it???There is a line that goes to the carburetor from the tank and my friend put gas in there, the car started just fine. Does anyone have any possible solutions or any other feedback that can help. I want to spend as little money as possible.
