just bought a '96 4 door tahoe the back hatch door wont open the window does but not the whole thing just wondering what could be wrong and how to fix it.

latch is probabily broke. This happened to me on my S10. Happens all the time, more so in the winter. Take to to a Chevy dealer, if its that much of a problem, they will take care of it.

Happened to my Tahoe and I just sprayed WD 40 on it.
