1996 chevy tahoe 350 vortec 5.7 engine. Its been dying when i stop at stop

signs. PLease help.? when it idles down it dies it starts right back up but starts running real rough when it idles and now it dies. Had the intake manifold gasket replaced last week. Do you know any thing i can check before taking it to the shop?

sounds like a bad alternator get it checked for voltage.
