Chevy Trailblazer or Equinox?

Hi! We're in the market for a used SUV and at this moment Chevy's fit our price range. I'd prefer a Honda or Toyota but currently I'm a stay at home mom with 1 14 month old and we hope to have another little one next year. My husband works and we just have 1 car ( a small Toyota Yaris) soooo.... this is why we are in the market. I would like something safe since I do have a daughter and that is really my main concern. MPG is not a big deal since the SUV will be for around town and we will take the little car on road trips. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on which they like better and why.

The Chevy Trailblazer are really nice, they are larger than the Equinox. You said that you have a young child? That's good because Most Trailblazers comes with build-in DVD player. So you can watch movies while you travel.

I know you didn't mention it but I was just like you, and unless you are totally set on buying a Chevy I would take a look at the Ford Escape. It smaller, more safe, more features, does get better MPG, and in my opinion way better looking, check it out you may change your mind: http://www.ford.com/vehicles/vehicle-showroom#/suvs/ford-escape-2009

But if I was only limited to the trailblazer or Equinox, i would pick the trailblazer, I used to own a Blazer before my Escape and I loved it too, jujust found the Ford way better
