...and right rear tire.? the grinding noise stops when i apply the brakes why is this i looked the rotors and they look fine and i just replaced the brakes about a month and a half ago because they werent changed in 5 years. Do i need new rotors or how do i fix this problem?

i think those have the emergency brake shoes on the inside of the rotor so from the outside the rotors would look good, but if the e-brake pads werent changed when the normal brake pads were done then that is probably your issue. Also, it could be wheel bearings, but both sides going bad at the same time is unlikely...

I agree with kevin also the backing plates are nown to rust an d bend into the rotors. when you did the brakes did you make sure the caliper slides on the mount were free to slide in and out? and did you replace the rotors at the same time?
