Where is the transmission stick on a 2007 chevy equinox?

it is in the front by the transmission mount it has a yellow top on it. It may have a bolt in it i know the 2005s did i have a 2007 thats how i know good luck

This is a factory sealed unit. Yes there is a way to check the level as the other answer stated.
However Chevy (and Honda as well as others) want you to have to pay a mechanic at the shop to check it.
This is one reason that there is a bill in congress to force auto makers to build cars that can be repaired.
Support it or be at the mercy of factory trained technicians.
