How do I turn the power steering back on in a Chevy HHR?

I rented a Chevy HHR and the power steering went off when the battery went low. How do I turn it back on? Thanks

Check for a blown fuse to the power steering motor.When the battery went low ,the amperage to the motor goes up,which will blow the fuse.It may have a circuit breaker you can reset.
