come out in 2010? I totally, totally want one.

Supposedly you'll be able to plug it in at night, and in the morning you can drive for 40 MILES without using gas! Awesome!

The price has been floating around between $30,000 and $40,000. First they say between $30,000 and $35,000, then looks like $35,000 etc. The last report puts it near the $40,000 mark. The big IF in the price is the cost of the battery pack, the one cost GM can't control.

GM has asked the Government to provide a $7,000 credit for purchasers of the car. Presidential candidate McCain has promised $5,000 and I haven't heard a thing about Obama's stance.
