aftermarket OEM air conditioner installed? I have a 2006 Aveo SVM hatch with the AC provisions and have found a decent price for the actual product ($860 plus delivery). What is the average cost of install? How many shop hours is it?
Please don't waste my time with responses like they are a waste. This is the original equipment the same as what went in the vehicle like it came from the factory. The only answers I am interested in are from people who actually had the A/C install on a chevy aveo done or Chevy service people.

Don't bother with aftermarket air conditioners, they suck, big time.

at least a grand if not a couple or few grand. call around for estimates but it wont be cheap to remove the entire dash to install the evap core and install all the brackets, lines, and hoses.
