I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and my right turning signal won't blink sometimes. If it does that and I put it back and then turn it on again it will start working, but sometimes I I'm turing it to the left it just won't blink. What could the problem be? Also, after awhile running my tahoe I hear a clicking type noise in the dashboard/console area. Its more like a buzzing noise zzzz...zzzzz....zzzzz...like that. If that makes sense...Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

i have a monte carlo ss and this happens to me all the time. you need to replace the hazard lights button. until then if you turn the emergency flasher on and off ur blinkers should work again. mine has gotten to the point that i really have to hit the emergency flasher hard to get my blinkers to work. good luck and i hope to get mine replaced soon because its so annoying,

This is a problem with the actual turn signal switch or what is now called the multi-function switch inside the steering column. These are inadvertently grounding the turn signal relay flasher, but not enough to turn the light on. It causes a buzzing in the dash area. That is the relay attempting to work. You can't repair anything with these, so your only choice is to replace the complete switch assembly. This is not an easy job and the last time I did one the part is also very expensive. It comes with the complete internal wiring harness that runs down the column.

The flasher is failing. On most late model GM products the flasher is located in the 4-way emergency flasher switch located on the instrument panel. To replace the flasher you need to replace the 4-way flasher switch.
