What is the average price for a Chevy Impala?

I'm looking for a late 60's model, just in working order. I live in Australia so I was wondering if anyone out there has bought one or seen one advertised recently.

The older Impalas are really sweet. GM's are crap I wouldn't buy one. The new impalas are crappy and k-mart cheap plastic.

I have found a couple on craigslist.com for the states running from $4500- $10,000. Sorry, didn't see one for Australia.
