Heater Question bout a 2003 Chevy Impala?

Have a Q about a 03 impala, the heater core went out and i replaced it, but now the switch that you turn heat on with, when you turn it on it doesnt kick on and blow out heat, someone said the resister or heater blower...need advise cant keep spending money on parts i dont need..thanks

check to see if the wire to the motor has come loose or was unplugged while the heater box was opened.
