...tractionsystem light popped on. ? What do you think that means ?

Depending on where you live it could be too cold and needs a jumpstart or your car's computer needs to be fixed

well first off- u never jumpstart these vehicles- u charge em- keeps from blowing the ecm ,,,2nd ignore that light- after it starts it will go off- charge the battery for about 20 mins- should start- weak batt probley...or bad starter

You probably were on a uneven surface. Or you parked while your car was still moving a little forward. Making the sevice traction system light go on. Try to shift it to neutral and let the car go backwards a little. Then try to start the vehicle.
Now if the service engine light turned on then take it to a shop to get the codes read. Probably a sensor.

Keep it simple more than likely it was low voltage from a weak battery that caused a glitch. the traction system would not stop it from starting. Jump the car if it does not jump its something more. Once it starts and the ignition is cycled a few times the light should go off however it may need to be reset.
