I have a well maintained '02 Cavalier. It runs great, only has about 60,000 miles on it but has problems starting in 15 degrees or less but runs fine once started; if I get it started. I've checked the battery, the alternater is good..... Anyone else have similar problems with their Cavalier?

you said you checked the battery but i would think that's the problem,if it came with the car chances are it is seven years old,if it was any other electrical problem it would happen all the time not just in cold weather, hope this helps good luck
