radio sound

i have a 2008 Chevy Equinox , team canada edition. how come the radio does not go loud., i can put it all the way to 45 and still not loud enough when driving on the highway. it i turn down the volume ast it goes load for a second and more bass. is there a way to fix this.

Just a suggestion, man. Check and see if the auto tune feature has been activated on that radio. Stranger things could happen.
