It's a Truck bed on an Suburban frame (or)
A Suburban with no rear AC and an open bed.
My four-wheeler fits in the bed with the rear seat down and the tailgate closed. It hauls 6 people and has 6 seat belts.
It rides smooth like an SUV, but looks like a pickup truck.
Avalanche has a 30 gallon gas tank. (30 X $3.00 per gallon=$90 per fillup)
It's the best of both worlds, but gets 14/17 MPG, like a truck.
I own one and I like it, except for the mileage.
