I just bought a 2011 Equinox 1LT and find it odd that you cannot shut off the Air Delivery Mode Controls or the Outside Air, Defrost, Rear Defrost, Recirculation. It seems that one has to remain on at all times. I cannot find a way to shut everything off. Even with turning the Fan Control off at least one of the Air Delivery Mode Controls remain on. I tried pushing the button that is on to see if that will turn it off and it doesn't.
Is there a way to shut off all the controls if you are not needing to use them.?
