The console design has been a complaint of mine since I ordered my 2006 Nox.
The cup holders definitely leave a LOT to be desired!! This part of my car absolutely drives me NUTS!! Everything falls down between the seats; the location of the aux plug is pointless! I have an extension plugged into it just to be able to get to it. I’ve not been able to find anything that would work because of the emergency brake.
I have an automatic, and have never used the darn thing, so I’m thinking it could just be covered up and forgotten!! I’d prefer to just take the flip part off completely and replace the entire factory setup with something actually useful! I know the in the new ones it’s all one cavernous area but fully enclosed. I can’t afford to buy a new one just for the console, but don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind! LoL This is how much I despise this area of my car, that I otherwise love. :cool:
