chevy malibu or nissan altima?

my mom will be getting me a new car soon and i wanted to know if the chevy malibu hybrid or the nissan altima hybrid is better. thanks!

you can't really go wrong with a nissan, but i'd buy the chevy because, like the first answerer said, buy american.
chevy probably costs a little less, too.

chevy. they are american made, and reliable...my dad has had a chevy for since he was 16...he is 47. they last!
