Turned out the 10 amp fuse under the hood was defective. The metal circuit in the fuse had not cracked, but there burn spots on it. When the fuse was tested it gave a reading but to get a reading we had to jiggle the prongs. We replaced the 10amp fuse w/ a 7.5 amp fuse and the truck started and ran for about 15 minutes w/out shutting off. Once we got a 10 amp fuse we replaced it and the truck is still working fine. I was having trouble starting the truck but now it starts fine. Will this resolve the problem or shud I change the fuel pump?
