Should I buy a Chevy Cruze or a Scion TC?

First off, I don't want a Civic or a Corolla. I know the Scion engine is the same one they put in a Camry, so I'm pretty sure it is reliable. On the other side of the stick, I know nothing about the Chevy Cruze's engine. I don't have to have 4 doors either. Which one should I get & why? Thanks!

I bought a 2011 Cruze. the motor and Turbo on it lasted about 36,800. Which is 800 miles above the warranty and not covered to replace both. I would suggest going with the Scion.

The engine in the Cruze is the Ecotec which has been around for many years in many forms. If you look through the various car mags you will see the Cruze is highly rated. The above individual with the engine problem doesnt make sense since the power train warranty is 5 years 100,000 miles.
