What Stronger off the line a 67 Pontiac gto or 70 Chevy chevelle SS?

need to know cause im buying a car next week and i plan on modding one of these for street racing!!

well a 67 GTO came with a 389 of various horsepower levels and the 70 Chevelle SS came with a 454 of various horsepower levels. combine that with the multiple types of rear end gears and choices of transmissions it comes down to comparing two specific cars which you have not found at this point.
