Can you make a chevy silverado 1500 fast?

I am looking at all cars and trucks i can make fast wondering if i can make a chevy silverado 1500 maybe 1994-2002 fast and how much would it cost.

Easy, just mash the gas pedal and hold it. It will go fast enough for you. Or you could spend a few thousand, say 16, and install a GM big block 620hp. Or do something really outrageous if that wasn't enough.
