As long as NASCAR doesn't want to start racing them it would be ok as a pace car. Although I don't think it will go fast enough to pace them properly and at some tracks it may have problems staying on the banking.

Yes, I think we should show what the U.S. is doing to the automobile these days!



But I don't think you will see Big Ricks Volt on the race track, I believe he has more sense than to put his brand new series # 2 Chevrolet Volt on the track! At least I hope not!!!
