I braked on some ice and my equinox just started going sideways. I was woundering if this vehicle even comes equipped with Antilock Braking System?
Ok, so if it does have ABS and doesn't activate when slidding what could that mean. I tried stopping suddenly on some ice a few times and it never kicked on. Just started slidding and the back end comes out. Its my wifes car and im concered if she brakes to hard in some snow she will lose control.
I will try gradually applying brakes and see if it works. Do you have to be going a certain speed? But if there is a problem with it will the ABS light come on?
