It should not under most circumstances. However, it may depend on the wording of your warranty. I know that if it is a GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) warranty, you can have the service work done anywhere as long as it is documented. I would find out what kind of warranty you purchased, who the company that backs the warranty is, and take a look at how the coverage and service restrictions are worded. Most likely, you will be okay taking it where ever you feel comfortable.
