The owner of the car would have to go to the dealer and have another copy made. Now if you don't have the spare key to have a copy made from then you will have to contact a lock smith and they with have to make a mold of the key hole.

So my boyfriend did the same thing to his cavalier, and I have a 98' cav so I figured I'd try my key...and it worked! So if you know anyone with a cavalier just try their key in any door. Good luck!

Take the VIN number to a GM dealership and they will cut you a new key for about 30 bucks.

any locksmith can come to your house or wherever the car is and have a key cut on site in about a half hour or less. prices vary so call around but this is a very easy fix if you just call a locksmith. there is no need to go to the dealer if the key doesnt have i chip in it which more than likely it doesnt on a 94.

Find the vin number in the manual or on the driver's door and report it to a Chevy dealer? That would be my best guess.
