the 5.3 engines in both of them are the same thing right? i read in a consumer reports book that the gmc had a 4 stars on the engine and the chevy had a 2 star. so are the consumer reports a little off or are the engines different.
the over all score was gmc 4 stars and chevy 3 stars, it compaired all major parts
