Where do i find the engine number of my chevrolet aveo 2006 ?

I had just bought a chevrolet aveo 2006 but I cant find the engine number. Please I need answers on where I can find the engine number on the car. I need the engine number in order to register the car in order for me to use it. Thanks. I will appreciate your answers.
