I Was Driving The Car The Other Day And While Shifting Into Gears The Car Shakes. When I Got Up To Speed On The Highway No More Shaking Only Happens When Im At A Stop The Step On The Gas And In Between Switching Gears What Causes That I Checked The Transmission Fluid It Was Low Was That The Case.

I am assuming it is an automatic with overdrive? It could be that the overdrive is going out, but there are other culprits. Have you changed the fluid and the filter? Use the correct type of fluid Dexron IV, double check me on that. Change out the fluid and filter, or check the torqe converter lockup solenoid on the front of the trans. Chevy's are notoriously bad for these going out. You can disconnect it. It is a round switch on the front of the trans if you are looking down on it from the front of the car. The check engine light will come on. You can run it this way for a while to see if that straightens it up, then you can replace it for around $100 if you do it yourself. Do the little things first, change fluid and filter, drive it. That might fix it, if it dosn't then you can unplug the torque converter lockup solenoid and drive it. If that fixes it, replace it. If none of the above work, take it to a reputable transmission shop and hold on to your wallet.
