Chevrolet Aveo or Nissan Versa?

I am travelling to the US and was looking to hire a small car (Chevrolet Aveo or a Nissan Versa). There is only $4 difference and I heard that the Aveo is one of the most unreliable cars ever built. I am looking for someone to sway my decision, as I have not driven either car. Has anybody here owned or driven an Aveo or Versa?

I agree with DC, go with the Versa. But the lady I knew who has an Aveo says that she "loves it." But she drives very little in a rather passive manner.

I have read reviews on both cars and you want the Versa. The Aveo is poorly built and is just junk.
