1995 Chevy Tahoe - Tapping Noise when I turn the ignition off?

1995 Chevy Tahoe - Clicking Noise when I turn the key off?
I have a 1995 Chevy Tahoe. When I turn the ignition key off, I hear tapping noise that sounds like it is coming from the heater unit. The noise last a second or two and then stops. A friend of mine has the same problem with his 1990 Pick-up, so I'm thinking this may be a common problem.

Any thoughts on where to start looking is appreciated. Thanks. Mike

i know a lot of older cars that do that. its probably nothing. if stuff stops working or it gets a lot worse you might think about asking a mechanic to have a look.
