How much does the chevy volt really cost?

I heard on the radio that each chevy volt cost around $80,000 to produce. How are they selling them for $41,000?

Its mostly PR. The car will retail for 41k BUT it is so limited in production (There will be more Ferraris imported than Volts made) that it will sell for way over sticker. Id say the average price will be $60,000
