we have checked every part in the ignition system even replacing the wiring harness and computer from a known good donor truck - the distributor and cap and rotor and coil and ign moduls are all good new parts - tested good - when we crank it with the coil wire out of the cap it fires a spark plug with a fat orange park - when we hook the coil wire back in to the cap it wont spark - if we connect the spark plug wire directly to the ciol wire we get a spark - but when the distributor cap and rotor are connected into the system - no spark and it dosent run. - we checked all of the fuses and sensors and changed each piece several times 317-752-9879 call me
