1999 Chevrolet tahoe. $1500 Worth It?

Not running. Dead battery at very least. 4x4. leather. 129k miles. Worth the risk?
Plz don't tell me to get the truck inspected and then decide if it's worth the 1500, If I could I would. IYO is it worth the risk? Thank you

I have a 99 Tahoe and I think it's worth it. You can do a lot with it and the parts are relatively cheap. For 1500$? what is wrong with it?
