Under the hood by firewall on passenger side is a vacuum operated bypass valve to the heater core. When the air condition is on, is this valve supposed to close? When vacuum is applied, the Valve will move. When vacuum is applied does this close or open the valve.
I noticed that no matter if ac is on or heater is selected the Valve does not move.
