I drive a 2007 Pontiac G5(Chevy Cobalt) No Options. I think I am paying way too much for insurance. I have a clean MVR, I'm 19 and male. I have taken Driver's Ed for school, Behind the Wheel training offered by the insurance company AND Traffic Survival School. What should my rates be? National Average, meaning many policies are below that, is currently hovering around $60 and my bill is more than double that.
Honestly I've tried over 50 different companies and was wondering if the insurance companies had it out for me, or if people with the same car and age were getting the same prices.

Coverage is 100/300/50 With 25/50 for Un/Undeiinsured. $500 deduc. No extras.

. No one here can tell you what your rates should be because there are way too many variables. Males under age 25 pay the highest premiums of anyone. If you have shopped at over 50 companies then it's a good bet you are being rated correctly. But............. Have you thought about paying your premium for 6 months or 1 year at a time ? It can be cheaper. Paying monthly is the most expensive way to pay for auto insurance

That's like asking How high is up? A national average premium would mean absolutely nothing; your specific premium for your location (which you forgot to mention) would mean everything. Call several agents/companies and see what's there.

I don' trust the web sites that give multiple company quotes; you can't be sure they're using current rates.
