how to repair an ac compressor clutch on a chevy tahoe?

my a/c blows hot. tried recharging with 134a refrigerant. relized that i dont hear any click when i turn on the a/c. wondering what are common problems with this. 1999 chevy tahoe, 4 wheel drive. 5.7L V8

u need to take it to a mechanic and have it fixed.......will run u at least 500 in parts+ whatever the mechanic charges...

GM has shitty AC design cas they don't put filter in right spot....so when compressor goes means u have to replace accumulator and evap core.....

first check for any blown fuses then from there check the compressor put 12v on it see if it starts no then its the compressor if yes it work start working back it could be electrical problem
