My mom has a 2007 Chevy Aveo sedan LS Automatic and it has been a good car we have never had any problems until now. The check engine light came on and off for about a week and now it is steady on and won't go off. The car idle up and down by its self when in park , and today while at the red light when my mom pressed the gas when the light turned green the car would not go but about 2 mph but everything was still working just fine engine was still on. we turned it off and back on and it was fine again. I ask my mechanic about it he said it might be something wrong with the gas pedal correlation. What exactly does that mean ? is this a recall issue and if so how could i get this fixed? If not whats wrong and how much would it cost to fix? Please help. And has anyone eles had any of these problems?
