How do you fold the middle seat in a 2003 chevrolet tahoe LT?

I've looked and tried the instructions in the manual, but I don't see the little hook the manual says should be there. I don't know if the seat is broken or what is going. PLZ someone help!

there is either a button on the top of the passenger seat on the back or you pul up and out on the back of the bottom seat cushion depending on what trim model you have
