i have a chevy trailblazer and the guy that change my oil said i need to get a

tranmission fllush? he told me i need to change it cause i was over 50,000miles is that true if so how much should it cost. is it the transmission oil or transmission flush that needs to b replaced

Transmission flush will remove and replace the old oil. Most quickie oil change places will do it for you. Call around and get prices or just go to where you normally change your oil. If you haven't done it before, have them drop the pan and get the filter replaced. Next time, all you'll have to do is have the oil flushed through the lines.

automatic transmission,s should have a regular oil & filter change between 30 to 50 thousand mile,s...this is minimal maintenance . a thorough flush should be performed at the next interval [ between 60 to 80 K]...many shop,s are pushing this service a bit early to make more money...a lot depend,s on city or highway driving...city driving is harder on transmission,s & you should take that into consideration....good luck!
