is there a reason why the 70's chevy novas are really cheap?

they're really cool looking cars, and i see sometimes pimped out ones for about 13 grand. its almost i feel like there is a time bomb in it or a hole in the bottom of the car or something. whats with that?

My first car was a 1971 Nova SS. I wish I still had it. They are solid rides.

I gave $1700 for it in 1985. It was pimped. If they are up to $13,000 they are NOT cheap!
