Disable Automatic headlights on a 01 chevy tahoe?

Well, I want to be able to manually turn on my lights. I know about applying the brake/override button 4 times but I want to completely disable them so i can turn them on/off on my own. I also dont want to be pushing the override button every single time. Thanks

Just remove the fuse that's powering the( DRL) daytime running lights.

You can program that in the BCM with a Tech2. The problem is youll need someone thats REALLY good with computers to do that, as 99% of certified GM techs wont know how to do this. The other way to just to run the voltage to the photosensor, but again youll need a good tech.
